As a Selectman and Chair of the County Advisory Board, Mike works to improve the structure and management of local government. His top priority is providing the best services for all Plymouth County residents.

Mike initiated a Veteran Housing project that is converting an unused town property into housing and on-site counseling for local homeless veterans while restoring and maintaining the historic nature of a valuable town asset.

Mike has approved and helped manage a $100 million town budget that covers diverse town services including Schools, DPW, Police, Fire, Council on Aging and Veteran Services.

In 2019, Mike successfully advocated in Marshfield for funding for a new Police Station, Department of Public Works building, an expansion to the Senior Center and also secured funding for seawall repair.
